Experienced attack and expected creativity
Among the established players, Hans Vanaken leads the line, supported by Romeo Vermant, Nicolò Tresoldi, Jan Virgili, Mamadou Diakhon and Carlos Forbs. Leko expects from them the creativity and danger that allowed Club Brugge to impress Inter.
The full list also includes Yann Sommer, Nordin Jackers, Hanbeom Lee, Matteo Dams, Hugo Siquet, Jorne Spileers, Kyriani Sabbe, Joaquin Seys, Freddie Potts, Hugo Vetlesen, Félix Lemaréchal, as well as the youngsters already mentioned. All will be mobilized for the Champions League evening.
By giving the youngsters a place alongside seasoned senior players, Leko hopes to replicate the performance that delighted against Inter, while consolidating Club Brugge's reputation on the European stage.
