Lederhose: Michael Olise's next appearance at the Oktoberfest

Before the international break, the players of FC Bayern Munich visited the Oktoberfest, where Michael Olise caused a stir with a striking performance. Harry Kane also celebrated, after he contributed two goals to the 100‑goal record in his 98th Bundesliga match. Bayern had previously defeated Union Berlin 7‑0.

Club Statements on the Oktoberfest

Jan‑Christian Dreesen, club chief of FC Bayern Munich, emphasized during the visit to the Oktoberfest: “We are completely relaxed. We are the pursuer of Dortmund and we will chase them later.” Uli Hoeneß, club patron, added after the 7‑0 against Union Berlin: “All good.” Bayern therefore stood only one point behind Borussia Dortmund.

Harry Kane also celebrated at the Oktoberfest. In his 98th Bundesliga match he scored two goals and thereby reached the 100‑goal mark in record time; he now has 101 shots. “That should … be a fun weekend,” he promised earlier.

Jamal Musiala also appeared in good spirits. He scored the “opening goal” (18.) and said: “I feel very good, I’m looking forward to what’s coming.” His 90‑minute appearance was his first since March, before he called up to the DFB team in Herzogenaurach on Sunday evening.

Olise in Focus

Michael Olise again caused a stir with his performance and recorded his first hat‑trick for FC Bayern Munich, a result that he himself described as “not sufficient” for his performance. Musiala praised him: “He is a great player.” Kane added: “He is an impressive player and a good character.”

Olise wore the official Bavarian costume of FC Bayern Munich, combined with a sky‑blue cap and a lilac cross; his hair fell into his face, so little was visible. Coach Vincent Kompany called him a “complete package” and emphasized that Olise has been playing at this level for almost two and a half years. Musiala confirmed: “This level is outstanding.”

New signing Ismael Saibari scored his first goal for the Munichers after coming on as a left winger. Serge Gnabry returned in time before the international matches. Sports director Max Eberl expressed enthusiasm: “I think it couldn’t run better. We wanted to go into the international break with an impressive result. We have achieved that.”

After the 7‑0 against Union Berlin Bayern Munich is only one league position behind Borussia Dortmund. The duel on October 31 will decide who takes the lead. Kompany explained that the Oktoberfest does him good, because he can enjoy it with family and friends and it gives him “extra energy” for the next phase.

With the cheerful appearance at the Oktoberfest and the impressive 7‑0 victory, the team continues to aim for a treble. The current mood could give the club extra momentum for the upcoming challenges.
