Lazio revive Icardi chase as free striker eyes Rome
Lazio have re‑opened negotiations with free‑agent Argentine striker Mauro Icardi, who became unattached after terminating his contract with Galatasaray, as Serie A has already begun. The Roman club says the forward is now more willing to consider a move, provided the financial terms suit him.

CON the club’s director Fabiani explained that two squad slots remain open and that the market never sleeps. The Lazio hierarchy has resumed contact with Icardi’s agent, and Gennaro Gattuso is expected to meet the player in the coming days to assess the feasibility of the deal.
