Lavezzi recounts his tremors on Amazon Prime's Fenomeni
During an interview given on the sidelines of the Serie A match between Inter Milan and Napoli, former Argentine international Ezequiel Lavezzi appeared trembling like a leaf, unable to control his arms and legs in front of the cameras, causing concern.
Many internet users, especially supporters of Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain, flooded the networks with messages of support for the Argentine. Their solidarity quickly spread across platforms, reminding of the public’s affection for the player.
In the show Fenomeni broadcast on Amazon Prime Italy, “El Pocho” detailed the origin of this condition.
“I suffered from depression, I was hospitalized, I take medication and I am under treatment. I am recovering little by little. When I stopped playing, there was a void, and nothing to fill it.”
The former striker also spoke about his son’s salvific role.
“The arrival of my son changed my life, it fills me with joy and makes me feel alive. It gave me the strength to keep going.”
After his years at Paris Saint-Germain between 2012 and 2016, Lavezzi joined Hebei China Fortune, where he became one of the highest‑paid players in the world. He still maintains a strong friendship with Lionel Messi, his former teammate.
