Laura Kaminski trades Champions League loss for Norwegian cup win

After Brann missed out on the Women’s Champions League, losing 4‑0 on aggregate to Austria Vienna, Laura Kaminski celebrated a cup final triumph over Aalesund, saying, “When it’s a good day, it’s absolutely stunning, so we’ll take that,” as she laughed about the rainy west coast of Norway.

The English former Crystal Palace head coach, who guided Palace to promotion, arrived in Bergen in January and has taken Brann to heart, adding that the chance to chase the league title was a major pull.

Her side now sit four points clear at the top of the league with seven games remaining, keeping the trophy hunt alive.
