Burnley defender Kyle Walker, 36, was captured appearing ‘completely plastered’ and alone on a bench in Cannes, France, while on holiday with his wife Annie Kilner during the three‑week international break, a video that, according to reports, surfaced on social media on 23 September 2026.

Social media footage sparks concern

Kilner posted an Instagram story earlier that day showing the couple partying on a beach on the French Riviera, a scene that later contrasted with the night‑time clip. A fan on X shared a video of a man slumped on a bench, captioning it: ‘I just ran into Kyle Walker all alone and, above all, completely plastered right in the middle of Cannes’. The same post included a French version of the caption, and Sport said it had reached out to Burnley for comment.

Burnley's season remains bleak
