Kevin De Bruyne refuses retirement and stays with the Red Devils

He explained that, even though he doesn’t want to be the leader, he offers to help the team and encourage others to take more responsibility. “I told him I’m coming to help, but the roles need to change,” he said.

Kevin De Bruyne does not rule out the idea of sitting on the Red Devils’ bench, recalling that he already did so in Naples during the first three matches of the season. “I’ve shown that I can also contribute coming off the bench,” he insisted.

He added that his level remains good and he is satisfied with his recent performances. “I’m quite happy with my performances, surprised to be so fit when training resumed in August,” he specified.
