Kane eyes Bayern extension while dreaming of NFL‑MLS double

Harry Kane says a new deal with Bayern Munich is imminent, while the 33‑year‑old also entertains the notion of a future dual career in American football and Major League Soccer. He told the club feels like home and that any announcement should come soon.

Kane, who joined Bayern in the summer of 2023, has already netted 152 goals for the club, secured three straight Bundesliga top‑scorer awards and helped win two league titles and one DFB‑Pokal. His current contract expires next summer, but both he and sports director Max Eberl say an extension to at least summer 2029 is close.

Kane also revealed he is considering a post‑Bayern plan that could combine playing in MLS with training as an NFL place‑. He said a six‑month to one‑year specialised programme would be needed, but stressed the idea remains only a distant possibility and his priority is to keep playing for Bayern as long as possible.
