Juventus Turin intensify pursuit of Rennes left‑back Mahamadou Nagida

In the Mercato, Juventus Turin have signalled a pronounced interest in left‑back Mahamadou Nagida of Stade Rennais, after his standout performance in the Europa League (Ligue Europa) that impressed the Italian club’s hierarchy. The club’s scouting department believes the defender could be a long‑term solution for the Old Lady (Vieille Dame) and may intensify talks in the coming weeks.

According to Juventus sporting director Frédéric Massara, his previous experience with the Breton side gives him a clear understanding of Nagida’s profile. Massara, who now oversees recruitment for the Old Lady, sees the Cameroonian left‑back as a perfect fit.

The young defender, often referred to as the Indomitable Lion, has attracted attention from a European heavyweight, confirming his potential on the continental stage.
