Juventus Turin does not let go of BVB talent Inacio
Juventus Turin has confirmed its interest in BVB‑talent Samuele Inacio, but a transfer currently appears unlikely. The top club does not let go of him, as a report from TuttoSport makes clear, while in the ongoing international break only Guglielmo Vicario from its own ranks was selected.
Juventus Turin seeks more Italian national players
The Old Lady, i.e., Juventus Turin, pursues the goal of having more Italian national players in the squad in the future. In the current international break only Guglielmo Vicario was nominated by Juventus, which further motivates the club to sign more talents like Inacio. The club counts Samuele Inacio among the most closely watched players.
In the previous season Samuele Inacio showed a rapid development at Borussia Dortmund. He initially played in the U19, then moved up to the U23 and at the end of the season made his league debut for the first team. Coach Niko Kovač used him a total of seven times, several of those in the starting eleven, which increased the interest of other top clubs in the summer.
In an interview with Tutto Atalanta Samuele Inacio Pia, the player's father and former Brazilian international, explained that in the last transfer window several clubs had asked Borussia Dortmund about his son. “Inter Milan and Juventus directly inquired at Borussia Dortmund,” he was quoted as saying. However, he emphasized that neither the club nor Samuele currently consider a move.
The father further stated that Borussia Dortmund will rely heavily on his son in the coming years and that Samuele feels very comfortable at BVB. He praised the environment and the fan base in Dortmund in the highest terms. These statements underline why a short‑term move is considered unlikely.
Interest from Inter and Juventus remains
Despite clear statements, the rumor of a possible move persists stubbornly. According to current reports, both Inter Milan and Juventus Turin continue to show interest and could aim for a move in the upcoming transfer windows. According to Inacio Pia, however, such a step would be anything but easy, especially as Dortmund attributes a central role to the offensive talent.
