Juventus secure future of versatile striker Nico Gonzalez until 2030
Juventus announced on the 9th that Argentine forward Nico Gonzalez has signed a new deal running until 30 June 2030. The 28‑year‑old, a product of Argentinos Juniors, joined Stuttgart in 2018, later moved to Fiorentina and completed a summer 2024 transfer to Juventus.
He spent the 2023‑24 campaign on a one‑year loan at Atletico Madrid, featuring in 37 official matches and netting five goals, but the club declined the purchase option. Returned on loan to Juventus for 2024‑25, he has already played five games, scoring two and assisting once, operating mainly as a versatile attacker in the second row.
Internationally, Gonzalez has earned 60 caps for Argentina, scoring six times, and appeared in seven matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, helping the side to a runner‑up finish.
