Juventus retains lead as Inter and Milan close gap in Serie A fan race
According to the Sponsor Value survey conducted by StageUp with Ipsos Doxa, Juventus remains Italy’s most supported Serie A club, counting 7.741 million tifosi, although its fan base fell 1.6 % during the 2025/26 season. The total number of supporters across Italian clubs stands at 25.6 million, virtually unchanged from the previous year. Napoli stays fourth with 3.079 million fans.

The research, titled Sponsor Value, was released in Stampa A&minus A+ and captures the tifosi landscape of Serie A in Italia. Men account for 55 % of the total fan base while women represent 45 %. Supporters aged 35 to 54 form the largest cohort, comprising 47 % of all tifosi.
La Juventus still leads the ranking with 7.741 million supporters. However, the club recorded a 1.6 % drop compared with the 2024/25 season, marking a second consecutive year of decline.
Inter sits second with 4.275 million tifosi, up 2.3 % on the previous season. Recent successes, including league titles, Coppa Italia victories and deep European runs, have helped boost the Nerazzurri’s following.

Milan’s surge despite Champions League miss
Milan holds third place with 3.976 million fans, registering the strongest growth among the Top 5 at +4.2 %. The Rossoneri’s increase comes even though they failed to qualify for the Champions League this campaign.
Napoli occupies fourth spot with 3.079 million supporters, rising 1.4 % for the second year running. Roma follows in fifth place with 1.790 million tifosi. Fiorentina, despite a challenging season, remains sixth with 655 000 fans but slipped 6.6 %.
