Juventus Museum exceeds two million visitors, a football myth

The Juventus Museum, located inside the Allianz Stadium in Turin, has surpassed two million visitors since its debut on 16 May 2012, a milestone celebrated by the club with the personal welcome of former midfielder Claudio Marchisio to the 2 000 000° guest. The museum, which houses more than 500 memorabilia, has achieved this result thanks to the constant interest of the fans.

Origins and collection

Since its inauguration on 16 May 2012, the Juventus Museum has welcomed supporters eager to get up close to the club’s history. The facility preserves over 500 historic items, including trophies, kits and personal objects of the protagonists. It has been chaired since its inception by Paolo Garimberti, who oversees its management and growth.

International recognitions

The museum has been recognized by the International Council of Museums, ICOM, which certified its importance in the sports museum landscape. In 2020 it received a Michelin star, a sign of excellence in the visitor experience. Since then it has consistently been listed among the 50 most visited museums in Italy.

Accessibility and thematic spaces

It is open all year, except on 25 December, and remains accessible even on Juventus’s home match days. Dedicated routes are provided for the blind, partially sighted and deaf, as well as educational activities for schools. Among the thematic areas, the new Hall of Fame stands out, celebrating the champions of the first men’s and women’s teams, the J|Sport space dedicated to the club’s multisport disciplines, and the Trophy Temple, redesigned for the centenary of the link with the Agnelli family.

The two‑millionth visitor was welcomed by Claudio Marchisio, who guided him on a personalized tour through the exhibition halls and the most precious memorabilia. The presence of the former player underscored the symbolic importance of the milestone for Juventus.

The museum has become a reference point for the club, helping to strengthen the bond between the team and the fans both on and off the pitch. Each year it attracts a growing number of enthusiasts, confirming its role as an ambassador of the history and values of the black‑and‑white football.

Looking to the future, the Juventus Museum continues to present temporary exhibitions on art, comics, history and cinema, as well as educational pathways linked to sports culture. These initiatives keep visitors’ curiosity alive and ensure that the museum remains at the heart of the club’s cultural offering.
