Juventus Kolo Muani to debut; Frosinone Douglas ready

Juventus will open their Serie A campaign on Sunday afternoon at the Stadio Benito Stirpe, facing Frosinone in a match that follows a recent friendly, with French striker Kolo Muani set for his second appearance in the black‑and‑white shirt and Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz confirmed in the starting eleven.

Spalletti prepares big moves

The recent half‑friendly served as a launchpad for Juventus ahead of their league debut on Sunday. From today, head coach Luciano Spalletti will begin extensive preparations for a decisive clash that he does not want to jeopardise the market‑driven optimism.

At Frosinone, French forward Kolo Muani is being positioned as the primary striker for the upcoming match. It will be his second appearance wearing the black‑and‑white jersey.

There is some uncertainty about the immediate use of 18‑year‑old Bosnian midfielder Alajbegovic, who could be introduced later in the game. Should he come on, the role currently held by Muani might revert to veteran midfielder McKennie, who has long occupied that position.

Wingers Yildiz on the left and Conceição on the right appear untouchable in the planned lineup. Central midfielder Locatelli is also expected to retain his place in the middle of the park.

A notable change is the inclusion of Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz in the starting eleven. He has featured as a starter throughout the August and July test periods, a sign of growing confidence from Spalletti. The details were reported by La dello Sport.

Behind Luiz, goalkeeper Perin is likely to be on the bench, with young keeper Vicario called in for a few days of acclimatisation. Both players are listed among the probable squad members.
