Juventus halts signings, Roma targets Endrick, Napoli uncertain
In the Juventus training centre, the coaches watch the three injured Yildiz, Thuram and Locatelli, while the club announces that it will not return to the market; at the same time Inter evaluates the young Samuele Inacio, Roma studies Endrick, Chelsea and Liverpool chase Koné, and Napoli discusses the renewals of McTominay, Anguissa and Lobotka.
Juventus and the market closed
Juventus has decided not to return to the market, despite three serious injuries that will hit the team in the early phase. First Yildiz, then Thuram and finally Locatelli have left the short midfield. Carnevali and Massara are already planning future reinforcements to fill the void.
At the same time, Inter is developing a similar project, targeting young talents from the Bundesliga. The German prodigy Samuele Inacio, born in 2008, son of Inacio Pià and currently at Borussia Dortmund, is at the centre of the Juventus interest. His contract expires in 2029, but Juventus has already intensified the pressure to secure the player.
Beyond Inacio, the Old Lady watches other young Italians: Ndour, considered by Fiorentina the only true “incorribile” of the squad, and Lipani of Sassuolo. Negotiations have not yet started, but the management is already active. These movements demonstrate the desire to focus on long‑term prospects.
Roma focuses on Endrick and defends Koné
Roma has abandoned the strategy of resorting to free agents, discarding Sancho, Zaha, Diatta and Guerreiro. The club now concentrates its moves on the winter window, looking for a vice Wesley and an attacking wide player. Gasperini has stated that the next goal is to place strong emphasis on Endrick.
Real Madrid on McTominay: transfer in January if Napoli doesn't renew
Endrick, Brazilian with no appearance for Real Madrid, could leave in January to find more space and continuity. Although he is not a true left winger, the coach believes he can be used in that position, as happened with Malen, transformed into a complete centre‑forward.
Meanwhile, the yellow‑red team has rejected the Chelsea offer of 60 million euros for Koné. Chelsea, however, does not intend to give up and will come forward again when the market reopens. Liverpool, led by Iraola, has also begun gathering information on Koné, ready to intervene in the coming months.
Napoli and the renewal negotiations
Napoli is handling the renewals of McTominay, Anguissa and Lobotka, all due in June 2027. For McTominay contacts are ongoing, but the parties are not close; if the differences persist, a summer sale will become a concrete possibility. Manna is preparing an appropriate offer for the midfielder.
Anguissa, Cameroonian defender, has received proposals from Turkey that the club deemed insufficient, so he has decided to continue with Napoli, although the dialogue is currently halted. Lobotka, Slovak midfielder, has an option until 2028, but negotiations are frozen. Meret, goalkeeper since 2018, could renegotiate an extension of one or two years in the coming months.
