Juventus defends Spalletti while Bologna restarts with Palladino
Giovanni Carnevali, chief executive officer of Juventus, defended Luciano SPALLETTI live on Radio Anch’Io Sport, reiterating that he does not intend to change the coach and describing him as “extraordinary”. On the same day Bologna dismissed Domenico Tedesco and handed the bench to Raffaele Palladino, with a contract until 30 June 2029 and the first training at 16:00.
Spalletti defended and shadow of Conte
Carnevali said “My mindset is not to change coaches frequently, I absolutely do not consider it”, asking for time for the new direction of Juventus. He described Spalletti as “one of the best coaches” and emphasized the need to build a stable project. At the same time, the shadow of Antonio CONTE remains alive: the former midfielder is a free agent and, given his historic appeal to the Bianconeri, could become a usable name for Juventus again.
The upcoming challenges against NEC in the Europa League and Atalanta in the league will be the test for Spalletti, as the recent seasonal outings have raised doubts. Carnevali confirmed his support for the coach, but admitted that a change of course will be necessary if the results do not improve. The future of Spalletti therefore remains linked to the performances of Juventus in the upcoming matches.
Young talents: Palmisani in view
Juventus is closely monitoring the market for young Italian goalkeepers and has set its sights on Lorenzo PALMISANI, born in 2004 from Frosinone. After a season that has made him one of the most interesting prospects, the Bianconeri club is considering a possible transfer already in the January window, to get ahead of the competition. The idea is to keep Palmisani at Frosinone until June, guaranteeing him continuity of playing time and development.
Italian dominance in Bologna puts pressure on the Red Devils' chances
Arkadiusz MILIK, born in 1994, is no longer part of the plans of Juventus, but his future remains uncertain. Some clubs in the United Arab Emirates, in the Middle East, are showing interest, with the transfer window closing on 28 September. Juventus would not oppose his departure and would not request any compensation, but the player still needs to be convinced to leave European football.
Bologna changes leadership: Palladino at the helm
Domenico TEDESCO was dismissed by Bologna after only four official matches, with the club thanking the coach for the work carried out. Raffaele PALLADINO signed a contract until 30 June 2029 and has already led the first training at 16:00 at the training centre. The new coach, Raffaele Palladino, resumes the course started last year, when he took on the role in Bergamo.
In the meantime, goalkeeper CRAGNO is READY TO RETURN TO THE FIELD, offering Juventus an additional option for the defence between the posts. The news comes as the Bianconeri management evaluates both the continuity of Spalletti and possible summer reinforcements.
The contrast between Juventus's desire for stability, defended by Carnevali, and Bologna's rapid changes, having already replaced TEDESCO with Palladino, highlights two different approaches in sports management. While Juventus looks to the future with patience, Bologna aims for an immediate revival, leaving the coming weeks open to see which strategy will deliver the desired results. Juventus still has to see whether patience will pay off.
