Juventus chase €50m Carnesecchi as Inter and Premier League watch

Juventus have earmarked 26‑year‑old goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi as their target for next summer, planning to meet a fee of around €50 million, though the deal hinges on securing Champions League football and still beating interest from Inter and Premier League clubs.

Why Juventus target Carnesecchi

According to Tuttosport via Calciomercato, the Bianconeri have monitored the 26‑year‑old for some time. Cristiano Giuntoli said a €50 million offer this summer would not have been rejected, but no club met that valuation.

Juventus spent the window on a limited budget, deeming Emiliano Martinez and Aston Villa’s demands too costly. They first secured Guglielmo Vicario on loan from Tottenham with an €8 million option, then turned to Kamil Grabara, both intended as short‑term fixes.

Grabara’s ACL injury now forces sporting director Frederic Massara to explore the free‑agent market, while the club plans a proper investment in July.

Carnesecchi’s contract with Atalanta runs until summer 2028 and renewal talks have stalled, which could tempt suitors to press the Percassi family for a discount.

Inter, the club Carnesecchi supported as a boy, will evaluate Josep Martinez and Ivan Provedel this season before deciding, and Premier League interest remains a standing threat.

The move ultimately depends on Juventus qualifying for Champions League football, which would provide the financial backing for the substantial fee. Securing Carnesecchi would give the Bianconeri a long‑term number one, while the keeper would gain a chance to play at the highest European level.
