Juventus block Arsenal move for Turkey star Kenan Yildiz as €100m offer looms
Juventus have confirmed they will not sell 21‑year‑old Turkey international Kenan Yildiz to Arsenal in the January transfer window, while a €100 million bid could become decisive if the Bianconeri miss next season’s Champions League.
Arsenal’s summer pursuit
On August 20, TEAMtalk transfer insider Graeme Bailey reported Arsenal’s desire to sign Yildiz from Juventus in the summer of 2026. The Gunners have made enquiries about the attacking midfielder or winger and, 7, manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta view him as a long‑term player.
Arsenal were reportedly prepared to include Gabriel Martinelli in a swap deal, but the 21‑year‑old remained at Juventus as the Brazilian moved to Al Hilal. The club continues to monitor Yildiz closely and is ready to make another attempt, the Italian outlet claimed.
Juventus’ conditional stance
Juventus’ Italian report states the club will not sell Yildiz in January, yet if they fail to qualify for the Champions League, a bid exceeding €100 million could change the calculation.
Italian resurgence presses Turkey and puts the Red Devils under pressure
The club has recently raised capital by up to €250 million, a move interpreted as a safeguard against having to sacrifice top talent. Juventus intend to build the new cycle around Yildiz, who signed a contract extension to 2030 with an annual salary of €7 million.
Yildiz has recorded 27 goals and 21 assists in 132 matches for Juventus. He is currently sidelined with a fractured foot that required surgery and is expected to return at the end of November.

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have also been linked with the Turkish gem, but Juventus appear determined to keep him unless a substantial offer materialises.
