Racing de Santander’s head coach José Alberto López reflected on his side’s performance after the 3‑1 victory over Elche on Saturday, saying the team gave the visitors too many opportunities and must learn to manage such phases better in the match.

He warned that his side had offered “too many advantages” to Elche after the 3‑1 result and stressed the need to “learn to manage those situations” more effectively.

For the Racing coach, the team “had a good first half” and performed “well until the 75th minute”, before conceding two late goals.
