JJ Gabriel's future reignites Barça, Real and Bayern rivalry

At Old Trafford, the young ambidextrous striker JJ Gabriel celebrates his sixteenth birthday on October 6, a date that allows him to sign his first professional contract. According to journalists NAOMI BAKER and Gabriel Sans, the future of Manchester United's academy jewel is once again generating buzz among the big clubs.

Family and early links

Following an unexpected request from his family to facilitate his departure from the English club, the striker's name has been consistently linked with Barça, Real Madrid and Bayern. The rumours intensify each time his possible arrival at the culé Ciutat Esportiva is mentioned.

In an early stage, Deco, Barça's sporting director, showed little interest, ambiguously arguing that Gabriel's profile did not fit into his plans. That stance has softened now that the player has reached working‑age adulthood.

Cypriot passport and millionaire offers

Experts such as Florian Plettenberg claim that Gabriel is awaiting a Cypriot passport that would allow him to sign freely in the winter market. Both Barça and Real Madrid would be ready to offer him a very high contract, with salary, bonuses and a signing fee.

Paris Saint‑Germain has also entered the list, trying to convince the talented striker who recently trained in Barcelona, at the British School facilities in Castelldefels. The French club is seeking a signing before the winter market.

Meanwhile, Manchester United does not rule out Gabriel signing his first contract with the club itself. Michael Carrick, first‑team manager, has asked for respect and for the pressure on the youngster to be reduced.

In England, United would consider filing complaints against any intermediary who tries to force his exit, arguing that they only seek to protect their interests if the footballer decides to leave.
