Ipswich Town eyes Sassuolo winger Laurienté as €30m price looms
Ipswich Town have made an approach for Sassuolo winger Armand Laurienté, reports, after Turkish suitors Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor showed interest. The 27‑year‑old Frenchman is listed at roughly €30 million, a figure that could shape his next move.
Laurenté has been linked with an exit for several years, but negotiations often reach an advanced stage before falling apart at the final hurdle. This pattern has kept the transfer window open for new offers.
Transfer expert Gianluigi Longari says Ipswich Town have formally asked about Laurienté. The attacking winger prefers the left flank but can also operate on the right or in a false‑9 role, adding tactical flexibility for the English club.
Sassuolo have set an asking price of circa €30m on the player. He recently extended his contract with the Italian side, which he joined in 2022 from FC Lorient for €10.1m plus add‑ons, including a 20 percent cut of any future sale profit.
In Serie A, Laurienté has scored 38 goals in 141 games for Sassuolo and provided 27 assists, underscoring his contribution to the club’s attacking output.
Some reports spell his name Laurient, while others list him as Lauriente; match reports sometimes use the form Lauriente’. These variations appear across different media outlets.
