Inter's third kit, Inspirada by Ronaldo era, arrives in September

Inter de Milão and Nike unveiled the new Third Kit for the 2026/27 season on Monday, 14 September 2026, a shirt Inspirada by the Ronaldo Inter era that will first appear on the pitch later that day against Udinese at San Siro.

The club confirmed the collaboration with the American sportswear giant in a short video posted to its official channels, highlighting the kit’s modern construction and the historic inspiration behind it. The release coincides with the start of the Serie A campaign, marking the first new kit of the campaign.

The jersey is built on an Iron Ore base, a shade of grey that dominates the front. A wide horizontal black stripe sweeps across the chest, edged by a thin blue line. Speed Yellow accents colour the Inter crest, the Nike swoosh and the player names and numbers.

Design pays tribute to the 1990s

Il Third Kit 2026/27 draws directly from the visual language of the club’s 1990s kits, when the Brazilian striker Ronaldo led Inter to the UEFA Cup triumph in 1997/98. The era also saw him win the 1997 Ballon d’Or, cementing his status as a club legend. The new shirt reproduces the era’s jacquard patterns and interior graphics.

Launch campaign and debut

The unveiling campaign was shot in iconic Milano locations such as Bar Picchio, the San Giuseppe parish oratory field and the Osteria del Biliardo, linking the kit to the city’s football culture. Players John Stones, Yann‑Aurel Bisseck and Mattia Mosconi feature in the images, representing the squad’s connection to the community.

The kit went on sale immediately on 14 September 2026 via the club’s online store, Nike.com and the Inter stores in San Babila, Castello and San Siro, as well as Nike retail outlets. From 21 September it will also be stocked by a selection of authorised retailers across Italy.

Inter will wear the Third Kit for the first time in the Serie A clash with Udinese later that evening, a 15:45 Brasília‑time fixture at San Siro that forms the fourth round of the Italian championship.

The shirt incorporates Nike’s Aero‑FIT technology, which the brand claims doubles airflow compared with previous models, helping to disperse sweat. Commercial partners Betsson.sport, U‑Power and BBVA appear on the front, back and sleeve respectively, continuing their sponsorship agreements with the Nerazzurri.
