Inter's €20m chase for Diaby intensifies as Jones remains on radar

With three weeks left before the transfer window closes, L'Inter are preparing a new €20 million offer for Moussa Diaby while still monitoring Curtis Jones, keeping the right‑hand side of the pitch at the top of their agenda.

Diaby back on the table

The Nerazzurri see the right flank, a sector that felt the loss of Denzel Dumfries, as a lingering weakness still without a settled starter after two failed attempts in the past month.

At the top of the list is Moussa Diaby, a player the club only brushed past in January, and for whom a fresh proposal is now being drafted.

The first bid to Al‑Ittihad combined roughly €20 million with the inclusion of surplus midfielder Kristjan Asllani, but it met resistance from the Saudi side, which was uneasy about the swap.

Bayer Leverkusen has also entered the race, offering cash only, adding further competition to Inter’s pursuit.

Curtis Jones remains a target

Jones missed yesterday’s friendly against Monaco due to a hip problem that had been troubling him since Saturday, a detail explained by coach Iraola.

Liverpool appear indifferent, with no renewal talks and a €40 million price tag that they are unwilling to lower, leaving Inter to keep the English midfielder on their radar.

The midfield is already crowded, but the market could shift quickly with Stankovic on the block and surplus players Frattesi and Asllani available.
