Inter bounce back in Champions League as United overturn Roma

In the Champions League fourth‑round double‑header, Inter Milan travelled to Rotterdam’s De Kuip and dispatched Feyenoord 3‑0, while later at Old Trafford Manchester United erased a 2‑0 half‑time deficit to win 3‑2 against Roma. The sides each secured points as Inter’s victory marked their second consecutive win in the competition.
Inter climb to 14th place
The victory gave Internazionale their second successive win in the Champions League, taking them to six points. That tally placed them temporarily 14th in the group stage of the competition. The result also moved them up the Liga table at Estádio De Kuip.
Feyenoord remain at the bottom of the group, occupying 30th place. They have collected three points after the loss.
Roma surrendered a two‑goal lead and fell to the 19th spot with four points. Manchester United, meanwhile, earned six points and rose to 17th place in the group.
United entered the match after a heavy loss to Como in the previous round. The comeback eased the pressure on coach Michael Carrick.

Defender Yann Bisseck opened the scoring for Internazionale. He was followed by striker Francesco Pio Esposito, whose name includes Pio. Both goals came in the first half under manager Cristian Chivu.
Midfielder Piotr Zielinski added a third goal in the second half to seal the win. His strike reinforced Inter’s defensive consistency throughout the match.
