Il Como's A&minus rule overhaul sparks fan debate ahead of new season

Il Como has unveiled a sweeping set of stadium regulations designed to secure greater attendance of its supporters and preserve a safe, family‑friendly atmosphere at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia ground for the upcoming season. The club says the measures will also curb ticket misuse and ensure that every seat is occupied by genuine Como fans.

The club released an official communiqué outlining the new rules alongside its season‑ticket campaign. In the statement, the club explained that ticket demand for home matches is expected to be higher than ever. "Because the demand for tickets for home games should be higher than ever, we want to make sure our tickets go to Como fans," the club said. Therefore, new behavioural rules concerning ticket use, transfer and stadium conduct have been introduced to keep the Sinigaglia a safe and pleasant venue.

One of the key provisions allows the club to revoke a subscription if a holder misses more than three home games without prior notice and without a valid reason. The regulation states that such subscribers may lose both the current subscription and the right to renew it.

The rules also stipulate that tickets issued to Como supporters must be transferred exclusively to other Como supporters. This measure is intended to ensure that every available seat is occupied by a genuine Como fan.

Additional measures target supporters who wear or display the opponent’s colours outside the designated away‑fan sector. The club warned that offensive, threatening or discriminatory behaviour, or the display of rival team apparel in prohibited areas, could result in ticket cancellation or subscription revocation.

The announcement was accompanied by a technical snippet referencing Google Discover, Fonti, Stampa, A&minus and A+. The code fragment includes a $(document).ready function that adjusts font size and line height for the reader interface. It also defines zoomout and zoomin click handlers to decrease or increase the text dimensions.

Como plans to enforce the new regulations from the start of the forthcoming season, monitoring compliance through stadium staff and ticketing systems. The club hopes the changes will foster a family‑friendly atmosphere and prevent ticket misuse in future campaigns.
