Hull City’s ambition for a proven scorer

Hull City, fresh from promotion to the Premier League, have identified Ansah as a target to bolster their attack. The German forward impressed early in the Bundesliga, netting four goals in his first four matches after joining Union Berlin, and has added a further goal in the subsequent 29 appearances. His international pedigree includes 12 caps and five goals for the German U20 side and six caps with one goal for the U21s, underscoring his potential at a higher level.

Union Berlin cashes in on record fee

Ansah arrived at Union Berlin from 2. Bundesliga club Paderborn in July 2025, a move that cost the Berlin side €4 million. The €22 million price tag would make Ansah Union Berlin’s most lucrative sale to date. The club, known as Die Eisernen, previously earned €20.5 million for Taiwo Awoniyi from Nottingham Forest in 2022 and received a fee for Benedict Hollerbach from Mainz last summer.
