Hull City’s Premier bid meets Deportivo’s stand on Yeremay Hernández
Hull City’s president announced that the 23‑year‑old winger “wants to go” to Inglaterra, underscoring the club’s ambition. The newly promoted Premier side believes the signing will strengthen their squad for the League season.
Deportivo’s firm clause stance
Deportivo, also called Dépor, insists on a release clause between €100 million and €140 million, rejecting any immediate exit. El club, based at Riazor, issued the response under the tags Periodista and Compartir, confirming its firm policy.
Yeremay Hernández trained normally in Abegondo, completing Antonio Hidalgo’s work plan. He has missed almost three months with pubalgia; his last match was on 24 May when Dépor secured promotion to Primera.
Acun Ilıcalı, also referred to as Acun Il, bought Hull City in 2022 for €36 million while it was in the Championship. Since promotion, he has invested €100 million, adding Nobel Mendy and Konstantinos Tzolakis to the roster.
Sporting CP’s €30 million proposal last summer was rejected while Dépor played in Segunda División. Acun Ilicalli now says a decision will come in three or four days, labeling a completed transfer a historic sale for the Herculinos and intensifying pressure from the English League.
