High‑probability Milinkovic‑Musso swap fuels Napoli’s summer scramble

RAI journalist Paolo Paganini outlined Napoli’s summer agenda during a Radio Kiss interview, noting a high‑probability swap between Atletico Madrid and Napoli involving Milinkovic‑Savic and Musso, while stressing the club’s need to move quickly as the agent has been in Italy for two days without a deal.

Swap talks between Napoli and Atletico

The discussion centred on a possible Milinkovic‑Musso scambio between Atletico Madrid and Napoli that would see Serbian midfielder Milinkovic‑Savic head to Spain while goalkeeper Musso moves to Italy. Paganini said the probability of the deal is high and that the clubs could finalise it in the coming days. Both sides view the swap as beneficial for squad balance. The report, marked with the tag 🖶 Stampa A− A+, noted that the agent has already been in Italy for two days seeking an agreement.

Napoli’s internal hierarchy is clear, with goalkeeper Meret confirmed as the starter. Milinkovic, eager for regular playing time, is reportedly open to a move abroad, with the Spanish Liga presented as the most likely destination. The Serbian midfielder’s desire for space aligns with Napoli’s plan to refresh the midfield.

Lucca's Serie A preference and other interests

Midfielder Lucca has expressed a desire to remain in Italy, stating a clear preference for Serie A over other options. Attenzione is being paid to Fiorentina, which could swoop on Lucca if it parts with Kean, and to Lazio, which may intervene if its pursuit of Pinamonti stalls. Giovanni Manna, Napoli’s sporting director, is reportedly weighing these scenarios as part of the club’s broader strategy. If Fiorentina releases Kean, Lucca could become a priority target for their midfield rebuild.

The Ultime notizie from the Napoli camp confirm that Lucca’s agent is actively seeking Serie A suitors, reinforcing the player’s commitment to stay in the top flight. Staying in Serie A would also guarantee Lucca regular top‑flight exposure, which his camp deems essential.

Central midfielder Anguissa has been on the radar of both Atalanta and Juve for some time. The club faces a decision whether to renew his contract now to fend off advances from the big clubs or risk losing him in the summer. A renewal would likely include improved terms to match the interest from the northern giants.

Napoli must accelerate its negotiations, as the player’s representative has been in Italy for two days without securing a deal. Paganini emphasized that the lack of progress could jeopardise the club’s summer plans if the window closes without the targeted moves. Il report also highlighted the urgency of the negotiations as the technical staff, led by Manna, monitors the situation closely.
