Heimsieg for Bayern as they open Bundesliga with Stuttgart win

In the Auftakt of the Bundesligasaison, Bayern München welcomed the home Publikum with a decisive 5‑1 Sieg that set a positive tone for the Spielzeit. Michael Olise and Luis Diaz were seen Jubeln after their contributions, and the official RHR-Foto captured Der Meister celebrating the opening Heimsieg in the Stuttgart Bayern showdown.

Opening fireworks

Dayot Upamecano opened the scoring from a corner, giving Bayern an early 0‑1 lead before the VfB Stuttgart defence could settle. The Bayern Dreier soon appeared, but a brief Gefahr emerged when the guests threatened to pull level.

Nur five minutes later Bayern restored a 3‑1 Dreier, reasserting control. Two minutes after that Vagnoman’s clearance slipped into his own net, turning the moment into an own goal that cemented the lead.

Stuttgart's fight back and Bayern's response

In the 52nd minute Josha Vagnoman equalised for the Gäste with a clean Direktabnahme, bringing the Partie to 1‑1. The goal represented a Rückschlag for the Münchner side.

Aleksandar Pavlovic extended the margin ten minutes from the final whistle, assisted by new signing Ismael Saibari, making it 4‑1. Luis Diaz sealed the victory in the Nachspielzeit, adding the fifth tally as the crowd continued to Jubeln.

Stuttgart entered the match without Nati player Luca Jaquez, who was injured, and Leonidas Stergiou was brought on a Viertelstunde before the end. Den Sieg feierten die Bayern, captured by the RHR-Foto, as they celebrated their opening Heimsieg in Munich.
