Sheffield Star journalist Alex Miller wrote on X that Gray “landed awkwardly and bashed his head on the floor”. Miller added that the player “seemed to be responsive and okay, but medics were absolutely right to take swift precautions”.

Wolves seal cup win

Wolves completed a 2‑0 win in the Carabao Cup second round, with an own goal by Sil Swinkels and a first‑half stoppage‑time strike from Saheed Olangunju.
