Harry Kane in pole position for the Ballon d’Or in London

In a month, the Ballon d’Or will be awarded for the seventieth time, at a ceremony in London. The predictions are already pointing towards an Englishman, Harry Kane of Bayern Munich, who could succeed Ousmane Dembélé at the top of the leaderboard in sports betting.

The favourites and their chances

Betting sites list Harry Kane at the top with odds of about 1.62. His main rival, the Spanish prodigy Lamine Yamal of FC Barcelona, is priced at 3.75.

Kane scored 61 goals in 51 matches across all competitions last season, and won three titles with Bayern Munich. With the Three Lions, he also finished third at the last World Cup.
