Ghedjemis signs until 2030 as Frosinone looks to the future
On Saturday afternoon, at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, Massimiliano Allegri's Napoli is preparing to face Frosinone, while the club from Ciociaria announces the renewal of Farès Ghedjemis until 30 June 2030.
Allegri looks for solutions against Frosinone
"Many difficulties and many doubts" describe the current situation of Massimiliano Allegri, forced to manage a spate of injuries that has considerably reduced the number of players available for Napoli. He must find the right solution for Saturday evening’s match at the Maradona against the breakthrough team of this early season.
In recent days a good piece of news arrived: McTominay has returned to the squad after passing his medical examinations, obtaining sporting clearance following the heart procedure he underwent in Manchester for the ablation of a benign arrhythmia. Moreover, Allegri has learned that he can count on Spinazzola and Meret, both now fit after the injuries that had kept them out before the international break.
Renewals: Ghedjemis to Frosinone, Espart to Barcelona
Frosinone Calcio has announced the agreement to extend the contract of Farès Ghedjemis, a 2002‑born striker, until 30 June 2030. In the 2025‑2026 season he was a major protagonist, with 38 appearances, 15 goals and 3 assists.
Barcelona has decided to secure another product from its academy, renewing the contract of Xavi Espart until 30 June 2030. A defender born in 2007, he joined La Masia in 2015 and began to make his mark in the current season.
Espart made his first‑team debut in March 2026 under the guidance of Hansi Flick, in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Newcastle United at St James’ Park. In the 2025/26 season he collected six appearances before permanently joining the squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Coach Hansi Flick started him in the lineup for the first five league matches; so far he has played five games, scoring his first goal and providing two assists. In his career he has already won the La Liga title in the 2025/26 season.
