Galatasaray emerges as likely exit for Juventus’s restless Dutch midfielder
Juventus have received a fresh bid for Dutch midfielder Teun Koopmeiners as the transfer window draws to a close, and the club’s outlook for him appears bleak. The Nederlander (De) is now viewed as having little future at the Turin (Turijn) outfit.
Style mismatch and squad reshuffle
According to (Volgens) reports, Koopmeiners does not fit Luciano Spalletti’s tactical approach and is therefore regarded as an extra player. Juventus intend to send another signal to the Oranje-international, while the Italian (Italianen) side is eager to bring in Franck Kessié (Kessi) on a free transfer, a move that would further lower Koopmeiners’ standing.
Galatasaray are concrete in their pursuit, as stated by Tuttosport. The Turkish club is positioned as the most realistic destination for the Oranje-international who wishes to leave Turin.
Other options have been floated: AS Roma have been mentioned but have not converted interest into a formal offer, and Besiktas’s interest remains unsubstantiated.
Juventus and Galatasaray will continue negotiations, hoping to finalize a transfer before the window shuts. Failing that, Juventus hopes to attract interest from England.
Koopmeiners has made clear he will only depart if a club comparable to Juventus presents a concrete proposal.
