French Federation's Tuesday Zidane reveal follows Deschamps exit

The French Federation has arranged a Tuesday Zidane press conference for July 28, 2026, at its Paris headquarters, where Zinedine Zidane will be unveiled as the new strategic head coach of the men’s national team, succeeding Didier Deschamps after his recent departure.

President Philippe Diallo will chair the conference, scheduled for TUESDAY, JULY 28, 2026, FROM 11:00 A.M., AT THE HEADQUARTERS IN PARIS, specifically the 15th arrondissement.

The announcement will take place in the auditorium of the French FOOTBALL Federation’s main building, offering a formal setting for the unveiling.

Journalists may enter the venue AT 10:00 A.M. THROUGH the entrance on Rue de Pondichéry, also located IN the 15th arrondissement of PARIS.

Accreditation requests must be submitted via the French FOOTBALL Federation’s press extranet BY JULY 24 at noon, and only those with confirmed ID will be admitted.

Because capacity is limited, the FFF press office will confirm each accreditation individually, ensuring only verified journalists and photographers gain access.

An extraordinary Executive Committee meeting will conclude that same morning, after which President Philippe Diallo will present the new head coach to the media, directly linking the administrative decision to the public announcement.

The juxtaposition of Didier Deschamps’s departure and the tightly managed unveiling of Zinedine Zidane underscores a deliberate shift toward a fresh direction for French football.
