Franse star Michael Olise faces legal battle over secret daughter
Michael Olise, the French attacker, is embroiled in a legal dispute over a secret daughter, De Duitse mother Fatima Zaunbrecher claims he has not paid any child support, reports, citing a statement made today at 22:12 and alleges that the payments have never been transferred.
"It breaks me how heartless someone can be towards his own child," Zaunbrecher says. She adds that Olise communicates only through lawyers who send letters stating that meeting the child would not be productive for their client.
Four years ago Zaunbrecher and Olise began a relationship that lasted two years. Shortly after the breakup she discovered she was pregnant, and tests confirmed that the French star is the biological father of the now twenty‑month‑old baby; Olise has acknowledged paternity but no meeting has taken place.
Initially Zaunbrecher was offered €836.50 in child support, a figure later raised to €2,000, which she says has never been paid. Sources close to Olise tell that he was prepared to pay an amount exceeding the German statutory maximum from the start.
Zaunbrecher explains that her lawyer at the time sent her bank details to Olise’s lawyers with a request to transfer €2,000 until a court determines the exact amount owed. She accuses the opposing side of trying to blacken her reputation.
She later demanded €60,000 per month, arguing that French calculations based on Olise’s high salary justified such a sum. The request was made with the intention of securing a payment level appropriate for his earnings.
Zaunbrecher hopes Olise will finally accept his responsibility and meet the financial obligations for their daughter.
