Forbs turns doubt into decisive for Bruges after win over Inter
In the mixed zone of Club Brugge's stadium, Carlos Forbs showed a palpable satisfaction after his team's surprising victory over Inter, a match that ended with a score of three to four. The Portuguese, who provided two assists, played a central role in his club's feat.
A collective performance highlighted
"I think we delivered a good match, especially with Nicolo Tresoldi and Yann Sommer, who rose to the occasion," Forbs said. He highlighted the difficulty of the challenge and expressed his joy at having shown Bruges' qualities. "Today, our work has been rewarded, that's for sure. We leave with three points, that's what we came for and I'm very happy about it," he added.
Managing an injury before the match
Forbs was unsure if he could play after getting injured against La Louvière on Saturday. He explained: "I had to receive treatment because I felt a pain against La Louvière. The medical staff helped me recover. I was therefore fit to play this match and everything went well. I didn't really know if I would be able to play. I had to see how I would feel upon waking before making a decision. Fortunately, I felt fine and everything went well."

The player reminded that his approach remains focused on the collective. "I simply try to give my best in every match and help the team as much as possible. My teammates also help me a lot, so it's above all a collective effort," he affirmed.
When asked about his status at Club Brugge, Forbs chose to stay humble. "No, I don't really see things that way. I simply try to give my best. I know my teammates support me, that they know my qualities and they trust me. That's what matters most to me," he concluded.
