Florian Wirtz is backed by girlfriend Aaliyah at DFB match vs Serbia
In the Berlin stadium, where the German national team faces Serbia on Thursday evening, a white jersey in the stands catches the eye: Aaliyah, the long‑time girlfriend of Florian Wirtz, sits right on the edge of the pitch and cheers him loudly. She looks focused while the crowd waves the national colours.
Florian Wirtz will take the field on Thursday evening in the German national team jersey against Serbia. His girlfriend is likely to be rooting for him, as she is regularly seen in the stadium and actively supports him.
Strong presence at national team matches
For at least two years, Aaliyah has accompanied the midfield star of Liverpool FC at the most important matches. Her appearance was especially noticeable at the European Championship opener in Munich two years ago, when she watched Wirtz's opening goal and the 5‑1 victory.
At the time, photos circulated on X showing Aaliyah in a white jersey, a black jacket and a colour‑matching Bottega Veneta bag. Her makeup was subtle, which drew attention to her outfit.
A user posted the pictures and wrote that he had to “gasp for air” when he saw her. Among the comments were sentences like “Aaliyah is so pretty”, “My God, she’s beautiful” and “Florian Wirtz is a lucky devil”.
After Florian Wirtz’s transfer to Liverpool, the British newspaper The Sun commented that the shots were “breathtaking” and highlighted the outfit consisting of a denim top, white sleeves and a skirt.
Social‑media and media hype
In autumn 2022, Florian Wirtz and Aaliyah reportedly became a couple, and since then she has been regularly seen in the stadium, for example after the German Cup final in May 2024. While other footballers’ wives work as influencers, Aaliyah keeps her Instagram profile private, which has only about 1,300 followers.
On TikTok she has more than 160,000 followers and occasionally posts her outfits there, which regularly sparks enthusiasm. Comments such as “She is gorgeous” show that her stadium outfits continue to attract attention.
Even at the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico, Aaliyah will accompany her boyfriend to the matches, travel to the German national team camp in Winston‑Salem and once again cause a stir with her stadium outfits.
