Feyenoord hopes for points against erratic Como in the Champions League
Feyenoord are aiming on Wednesday evening for their first point in the Champions League, while the Rotterdam side welcome an unpredictable Como at De Kuip. Analyst Kees Kwakman emphasizes that the outcome heavily depends on which version of Como you face.
Kwakman analyses Como’s inconsistency
Kwakman, guest on the ‑program, explains that he has seen Como both against Napoli – where they played maturely and winningly – and against Frosinone, a match that went both ways and in which they lost 2‑0 and gave away many chances. “It partly depends on which Como you get,” the analyst said.
The Italian coach Cesc Fàbregas has, according to Kwakman, indicated that an away match in the Champions League is new territory for his team, and that they will encounter a different style of play outside Italy. Kwakman believes this provides opportunities for Feyenoord.
Danny Koevermans looks forward to the evening match at De Kuip and calls it a “nice one” to see Champions‑League football against Como. Marion Been, in the Dick Voormekaar podcast, also sees chances for the Rotterdam side, despite the lack of Italian players in the lineup.
