Feyenoord fined €25,000 for racism at Camp Nou

The Dutch club Feyenoord was sanctioned by UEFA after racist incidents among its supporters at the Camp Nou during the match against Barça, with the disciplinary committee delivering its decision on Saturday and imposing a fine of €25,000.

The match between Barça and Feyenoord ended 5‑1, but was marred by racist behaviour from some Dutch supporters. These incidents triggered a UEFA investigation that resulted in the sanction.

UEFA sanction details

UEFA's Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Committee imposed a total fine of €74,375 on Feyenoord, including €25,000 for “racist or discriminatory behaviour”. “Object throwing” resulted in a penalty of €26,375, acts of vandalism in the stadium area €13,000, and a “message incompatible with a sporting event” €10,000.

Furthermore, the CEDB applied a 25% suspended reduction to the quota of tickets allocated to Feyenoord supporters for upcoming away matches in the Champions League.

Supporters are warned and must comply with the rules to avoid further sanctions.
