Bayern Munich agree deal with Nathaniel Brown
FC Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with Werder Bremen midfielder Nathaniel Brown. The Bundesliga giants finalised terms with the 23-year-old on Friday.
Brown, a German international, featured 25 times for Werder Bremen last season. He scored three goals and provided two assists in all competitions.
The move comes as Bayern seek to bolster their midfield options. Julian Nagelsmann’s side currently have Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka as key midfielders.
Bayern’s sporting director Jan Christian Dreesen confirmed the club’s active transfer strategy. The Bundesliga record champions are targeting further reinforcements before the window closes.
The 23-year-old will undergo a medical in Munich on Monday. Subject to passing the exam, he will sign a five-year contract.
Bayern’s next fixture is at home to Borussia Mönchengladbach on August 24. Brown’s potential arrival could impact their squad depth ahead of the match.
