FC Bayern keep their Blick on Dortmund’s 18‑year‑old Inacio
FC Bayern are said to have their Blick on Borussia Dortmund forward Samuele Inacio, the 18‑year‑old who has already featured in ten senior matches and netted three goals, two of them in the first cup round against HEBC Hamburg. The German giants’ interest adds a new dimension to the young striker’s rising profile.
Dortmund’s youth‑focused rebuild
Under Ole Book, Borussia Dortmund have reverted to a proven strategy of fielding a younger, more dynamic Team. The approach creates a Chance for many Youngsters to step into the spotlight, a prospect the club says is amplified under Bayern coach Niko Kovac’s watchful eye.
Book’s plan also incorporates million‑euro signings such as Konstantinos Karetsas, Giannis Konstantelias and Joane Gadou, while still promoting academy products like Inacio.
Inacio’s impact at senior level
The Italian arrived from Atalanta Bergamo in 2024, joining the BVB youth set‑up before breaking into the first‑team squad. In his ten appearances he has scored three times, with a brace coming in the opening cup tie against HEBC Hamburg.
At 18, Inacio offers versatility, able to operate centrally or on the wing, a trait that has drawn praise from Bayern coach Vincent Kompany.
Bayern’s interest and possible move
Italian transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio told wettfreunde.net that Bayern have long had Inacio on their list, having monitored him since his Atalanta days. “He is certainly also on the list of FC Bayern Munich, because they wanted him when he was still at Atalanta,” he said.
Di Marzio added that Bayern are unlikely to act in January but could make a move in the summer. He recalled that Inacio and his family visited the club’s Säbener Straße facilities after being contacted by both Dortmund and Bayern.

Should Bayern pursue the 18‑year‑old, it would confirm the continued focus of elite German sides on nurturing young talent from rival academies.
