Fans stop Liverpool-Star's car on street after FC Fulham draw

On a quiet Liverpool Straße, a black Auto idles as a small crowd of Fans gathers, cameras flashing. The atmosphere is tense after the team's recent Spiel against FC Fulham left supporters disappointed, and the presence of the Liverpool-Star draws immediate attention.

Video shows fans confronting the defender

Nach dem enttäuschenden Remis gegen Fulham, Fans of FC Liverpool stopped the Auto of Jeremy Jacquet. They confronted the Verteidiger on an open Straße, demanding a Rede.

Wie auf Aufnahmen des Journalisten Keefe Irwin zu sehen ist, the 21‑year‑old Franzose was intercepted by some Anhängern of the Reds immediately after the 0:0 against the Cottagers. He was openly asked for Autogramme and Fotos with the present Fans.

Aftermath and season context

Nach einem kurzen Austausch, Jacquet got back into his Auto. He did so to avoid further holding up the Verkehr, and at the Ende of the incident the traffic flow resumed.

Einige Liverpool-Anhänger took offence and berated him, while the Verteidiger drove away. The confrontation quickly escalated before the defender left the scene.

Auf Social Media, Jacquet received backing from numerous Usern. "Es gibt einen richtigen Zeitpunkt und Ort dafür, und das hier ist er nicht. Willst du, dass er dort anhält und möglicherweise von der Polizei zur Rede gestellt wird? Das ist ein gefährlicher Ort, um anzuhalten", schrieb einer der Nutzer.

Despite the disappointing result, Jacquet and his Innenverteidiger colleague Virgil van Dijk were in top form. Jacquet made a crucial clearance on the line to deny a late equaliser, protecting Alisson Becker.

Nach drei Unentschieden aus den ersten vier Ligaspielen, Liverpool sit with six points in sixth place. Further matches against Brighton & Hove Albion, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Leeds United could change that position.

The episode occurred after the 0:0 draw and the club remains sixth in the league.
