Family ask for privacy as Birmingham winger Jordan Graham hospitalised

Former Birmingham City winger Jordan Graham, 31, is receiving specialist treatment in hospital after a serious road‑traffic accident earlier this month, the Professional Footballers’ Association confirmed on behalf of his family. The incident occurred while he was travelling, and he remains under medical care as his loved ones await further updates.

Career background and appearances

Graham joined Birmingham City from Gillingham in 2021, having been developed in the Aston Villa academy. He made 49 Championship appearances for Birmingham between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that he featured 17 times for Wolves and enjoyed loan spells at Ipswich Town, Bradford City, Oxford United and Fulham. In total he has amassed 188 senior appearances, though he has not played since leaving Leyton Orient in 2025.

The PFA issued a statement saying the 31‑year‑old is receiving specialist treatment and that his family are incredibly grateful for the care he is receiving. They asked the public to respect their privacy and refrain from direct contact while he focuses on recovery, adding that further information will be provided when appropriate. Gillingham also expressed its thoughts, wishing him a full and swift recovery, while Leyton Orient simply wrote: “We’re all with you JG.”

Across his career Graham has represented clubs including Gillingham, Birmingham City, Wolves, Ipswich Town, Bradford City, Oxford United, Fulham and Leyton Orient, accumulating 188 appearances before the accident halted his playing days.
