Entwarnung for VfB Stuttgart as Stiller-Diagnose proves mild

Entwarnung VfB Stuttgart after a Schreckmoment on Saturday; the Stiller-Diagnose confirms midfielder Angelo Stiller suffered only a knee bruise, giving the club a clear Grund for Erleichterung. The injury occurred in a Duell with TSG Hoffenheim, but medical staff ruled out a serious Pause and expect a rapid return.

Mild diagnosis eases concerns

Stiller was forced off the Platz after a hard collision with Hoffenheims defender Ozan Kabak. The German Nationalspieler suffered a Verletzung that halted his participation in the 1‑2 loss. Der medical team immediately assessed the situation, confirming the impact was limited to soft tissue.

The club’s medical report labelled the issue as a simple Knieprellung, a mild Diagnose that excludes any long‑term Pause. This Aufatmen follows the initial fear of a severe injury. Doctors stress that the knee bruise will heal with standard treatment.

Stiller is one of Stuttgart’s key Mittelfeldspieler and a regular in the German national squad. His ability to dictate tempo makes him indispensable for both club and country. The Der coach emphasised that losing him would have been a heavy blow.

With the next weekend’s clash against Borussia Dortmund looming, the hope is that Stiller will be in Verfügung for selection. If he recovers, he could feature in the high‑intensity duel that awaits. The team will monitor his fitness throughout the training week.

Coach Sebastian Hoeneß praised the quick turnaround, noting the club can now breathe a sigh of Erleichterung. The Aufatmen in the dressing room reflects the Grund for optimism after the earlier scare.

The contrast between the Schreckmoment and the present Entwarnung highlights how swiftly fortunes can change in football. Stuttgart will await the final training assessment before confirming Stiller’s role in the upcoming match.
