English legend Joe Hart stays on Manchester City's side after ruling

Former goalkeeper Joe Hart, an English legend, has publicly stood behind the club after Manchester City's verdict, which shook English football. In a BBC interview he emphasized his confidence in City boss Khaldoon Al-Mubarak and stated that he continues to fully support the club.

Hart was under contract with Manchester City from 2006 to 2018 and made 348 appearances, making him one of the most frequently used goalkeepers in the club's history. As a Sky Blues legend he remains loyal to the club.

Confidence after the Verdict

In the interview Hart said: “My honest opinion is that I have no reason not to trust Khaldoon. What he has said is enough for me.”

Hart also referred to the statement from the City chief on Saturday, a day after the verdict, in which it was emphasized that the process is ongoing and the club will not give up.

He added that there is “nothing concrete” against Manchester City and that, should the club be found guilty – which he does not believe, based on Khaldoon's statements – discussions would be necessary.

In conclusion Hart emphasized that he is very confident and very, very calm, is proud of what he and the team have achieved at Manchester City, and that nothing will change about that unless he is told otherwise.
