Elite Arsenal signing confirmed by Fabrizio Romano as wonderkid joins

Arsenal have formally sealed the signing of Georgian 17‑year‑old wonderkid Andria Bartishvili, transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed on X. The medical is complete and the contract will be signed, with the player set to join the first‑team squad at the Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2027 when he turns eighteen.

The Gunners view Bartishvili as an elite prospect who can add creativity to their midfield. Hailing from Georgia, his playing style resembles that of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, another Georgian who has thrived after moving to a top European club.

Why Arsenal moved quickly

Liverpool and Juventus were also linked with the teenager earlier in the summer. Arsenal secured the deal before those suitors could finalise any agreement, demonstrating their determination to lock in the talent. The same report also listed Man City among clubs eyeing a La Liga sensation, highlighting the intensity of the transfer market.

Romano posted on X: “Georgian talent Andria Bartishvili can be considered a new Arsenal player. Medical completed, contract set to be signed and deal formally sealed.” The tweet confirmed the medical clearance and the impending contract.

For Arsenal, the signing represents a smart piece of business that could increase in value as the youngster develops. Competition for places will be fierce, but the club believes his potential justifies the investment. Fans will have to wait until 2027 to see if he can follow in the footsteps of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Bartishvili will join the first‑team squad at the Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2027, when he turns eighteen. The move offers him elite training facilities and a platform to follow the path of fellow Georgian star Kvaratskhelia.
