FIFA releases Germany's World Cup group kits

FIFA announced the jersey lineup for the World Cup group stage. Germany will wear a blue shirt for one of its group matches.

The governing body assigns each nation a home, away and third kit for the tournament. Germany's third kit is the blue shirt, complementing its traditional white home kit.

The blue kit aligns Germany with other former world champions that also receive an alternate colour. All ex‑world champions are granted a third kit differing from their primary colours.

FIFA released the complete kit set for the competition. The rollout follows the organization’s standard protocol for tournament apparel.

The blue jersey may be used only during the group phase. Teams can switch to the third kit if an opponent’s colours clash.

Germany's opening group fixture will decide whether the blue kit is required. The shirt will appear on the field if the clash rule applies.
