Dortmund sets firm price as Galatasaray and Napoli eye Bensebaini

Borussia Dortmund have made clear that Algerian international Ramy Bensebaini will remain at the club until his contract expires in June 2027, unless a satisfactory transfer fee is offered during the summer window. The German side are preparing for the new season while fielding interest from clubs across Europe.

Le summer transfer window could still hold surprises for the Alg defender.

Interest from Galatasaray and Napoli

Galatasaray and Naples are reported to be monitoring the left‑back and have expressed concrete interest. Their pursuit adds pressure on Dortmund as the summer market heats up.

Journalist Ekrem Konur notes that both clubs aim to exploit the contractual situation that sees Bensebaini’s deal run out in June 2027.

Contract timeline and Dortmund's stance

Dortmund have set a clear condition: Bensebaini stays until the contract ends unless a financially satisfactory offer arrives. The club prefers either retaining the defender for the upcoming season or securing a transfer fee before any departure.

Le club Turkish side Galatasaray already knows the case, having previously shown interest in the Algerian left‑back, and now returns to the negotiation table.

Il arrived at Dortmund in the summer of 2023 from Borussia Mönchengladbach, signing a four‑year deal that leaves him with one year remaining on his contract.

No official offer has yet convinced Borussia Dortmund, leaving Bensebaini’s future open with Galatasaray and Napoli still in the mix.
