Dortmund’s unbeaten run propels them back to Bundesliga summit

Borussia Dortmund kept their flawless start to the campaign with a 1‑0 away victory over Stuttgart on Saturday, lifting them back to the top of the Bundesliga. The win takes Dortmund to twelve points, maintaining a 100 percent record after four matches.

Decisive strike seals victory

Forward Maximilian Beier delivered the decisive blow, finding the net in the 25th minute of the second half. His strike proved enough to secure all three points for the visitors.

Standings shift and upcoming break

This win pushes Dortmund ahead of Bayern Munich and Freiburg, both on ten points, and restores the club’s position at the summit of the Bundesliga. Dortmund’s perfect run now stands at twelve points from four games.

Stuttgart, who finished fourth in last season’s Bundesliga, slipped to 14th place with only three points after the defeat. The drop leaves them well behind the European qualification spots.

The league will now pause for the international break, with action set to resume on 9 October.

In the fifth round Dortmund will host Werder Bremen, while Stuttgart travel to Paderborn 07. Both clubs will look to build on their recent form when the schedule restarts.
