Page was among the stand‑out players as Leicester secured a thrilling 4‑3 victory away to Stockport County, creating both of the team’s goals at Edgeley Park. His two assists underlined his technical ability and maturity in possession.

Dortmund’s Bellingham pedigree
Borussia Dortmund were also present at the match, adding their own assessment of the Leicester star. Dortmund’s interest is unsurprising given their reputation for nurturing elite English talent, highlighted by their earlier acquisition of Jude Bellingham’.
The German club secured Jude Bellingham’ from Birmingham City in 2020, moulding him into a world‑class midfielder before his 2023 move to Real Madrid. They have since signed his younger brother Jobe Bellingham from Sunderland and have developed English players such as Jadon Sancho and Jamie Gittens at Signal Iduna Park.
Wider club interest
TEAMtalk confirmed that Manchester City, Liverpool, Everton, Newcastle United and Sunderland also sent representatives to Edgeley Park. In addition, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham have been linked with Page, widening the competition for his signature.
United’s belief that their summer groundwork leaves them best placed is now challenged by Dortmund’s presence, which underscores the teenager’s growing reputation beyond England.
The club’s pursuit of Page comes amid criticism over two recent transfer mistakes, adding pressure to secure a successful signing. Such scrutiny may influence their strategy in the upcoming transfer window.
